Happy Sunday everyone! Today I decided to write a blog post about what I normally carrying around with me in my handbag. If you are anything like me then you are often curious about what other women carry in their bags too. Before I begin, let me just take this moment to declare my love for handbags. Second from shoes, I love shopping for handbags. HOWEVER. I have always had a really tough time finding the perfect one. It’s either the size is not right, or the colour is completely wrong or wrong-ish . I mean what does a gal have to do? BUT. I just recently eyed this lovely Guess Tulip handbag and boy am I tempted – the 2017 “spend less money” rule at risk of being broken but I haven’t written anything down, so maybe it’s ok?
Back to what’s in my bag.
The handbag itself: I’m currently using an ESPRIT handbag in grey and black. Love, love this handbag. Bought it about a week after christmas after seeing it and day dreaming about it for at least 2 weeks. It felt and still feels right. It is the perfect size but the colour isn’t really perfect nor practical for frequent (daily) use. Although I’m very careful with it, I think it’s only a matter of time before the light grey areas start to look dull and old (and thus the Guess Tulip day dreams).
Cosmetics case: I got this little cosmetics case at Victoria’s Secret in Tucson Arizona some years ago. It’s a very simple, practical and cute little cosmetics case for my handbag and has served very me well for many years.
My little pink hard plastic wallet and keys: I just love the fact that I can easily fit this cute little wallet into my pocket when I don’t feel like taking my handbag with me into the convenience store. And have I told you how much I love pink these days?
My phone: I’m currently using a Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge+ smartphone in gold and loving it.
Mac lipsticks: I have 3 staple Mac nude lipsticks at the moment – Ramblin Rose, Cremesheen Modesty, and lustre Polished Up. I use these lipsticks interchangeably throughout the day.
Shea butter hand cream: Winter can be really hard on my hands and because of that I won’t go anywhere without a good hand cream from The Body Shop®. The Shea butter hand cream leaves my skin feeling very moisturised and smelling refresh.
Erin Condrin planner: Between planning meals for my family, tasks at the office, blogging, appointments and more I am very dependent on my planner. I love this planner by Erin Condrin. It’s a good size and doesn’t weigh much.
Umbrella: Because if it’s not raining in beautiful Sweden it’s snowing and if it’s not snowing it’s drizzling, otherwise the umbrella stays in my handbag and am happily taking in the sun and enjoying the weather. Let’s just say the driest month in Sweden is March.
And that’s it friends. I do hope you enjoyed reading this blog post as much as I enjoyed writing it. Looking forward to posting another “What’s in My Bag” blog post some time in the future – Guess? 😉
